Showroom Sales Specialist
We’re looking for a Showroom Sales Specialist to join KABI, a high-end custom cabinetry and kitchen design brand based in the Bay Area. This role is perfect for someone with an interior design or architecture background who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to learn how design concepts are turned into real, built projects.
As part of our showroom team, you’ll help clients explore material options, build design proposals, and communicate project needs to our production team at our local factory. Rather than hard-selling products, you’ll guide clients through functional design solutions for kitchens, storage systems, and interior millwork.
This is a design-driven, growth-focused role where showroom experience becomes the first step toward becoming a design consultant or project manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and advise clients visiting the showroom; understand their needs and goals
- Provide professional design suggestions (layout, material selection, storage solutions)
- Create and present basic design concepts and mood/material selections
- Prepare quotes and proposals based on client needs and design direction
- Follow up with clients throughout the decision process to deliver excellent service
- Collaborate with our factory team to ensure smooth project hand-off
What You Will Learn
Full workflow of kitchen & cabinetry design: client → design → manufacturing → installation;
Functional kitchen design + measurement standards;
Material systems, hardware options, and cost logic;
Basics of project management and on-site communication;
Ideal Candidate
Background in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields (current students or recent graduates welcome);
Strong interest in functional design, millwork, or residential interiors;
Good communication and a client-friendly personality;
Organized, proactive, eager to learn;
