Position: Internship (with possibility of FTE extension and benefits)
Duration: Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2026 Semester. 15 hours/week for 15 weeks. Flexible hours between Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, occasional evenings and weekends.
Location: Primarily remote with in-person meetings and events as needed, mainly within Upper Fox River watershed (Winnebago, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara Counties)
Salary: $15/hr
Salaries are paid on a bi-weekly basis. All payments are subject to mandatory employment deductions (state and federal taxes, social security and Medicare).

POSITION SUMMARY:
Foxhead Regenerative Agriculture Project (FoxRAP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Green Lake, WI, restoring our roots in small farms and local food to build communities where people and land work together.
Our four program pillars are:
- Connect Community - educate and engage community around regenerative agriculture, healthy food, and land stewardship
- Grow Local Food - establish, support, and diversify local farms and markets
- Preserve Farms - forge paths for farmland access, conservation, and transitions
- Protect our Ecosystem - work with partners to protect and restore natural spaces
FoxRAP was founded in 2021 and is a budding grassroots organization. As we grow, we’re looking for new staff to help guide us into the future. Although the position comes with certain required tasks, it’s also flexible and can be shaped by the successful candidate.
INTERNSHIP TRACK- Programs & Management
Responsibilities:
- Develop organizational programs & services
- Develop marketing and business plans
- Assist with community & economic development programs
- Engage & collaborate with community partners on various projects related to our program pillars
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You are:
- Passionate about FoxRAP’s mission and community
- Motivated, responsible, able to work independently
- Open-minded, adaptable, and able to work with a variety of community stakeholders with differing values and beliefs
- Comfortable with public speaking, presenting information, and meeting new people
- Organized and self-starting, able to see projects through and prioritize multiple ongoing projects
You have/are interested in acquiring:
- Experience in the intersection of agriculture, food, and the environment
- Experience building networks and teams to achieve common goals
- Experience in organizational decision-making, culture-building, and development
- Experience with online marketing and content creation (social media, blogs, video)
- Experience with nonprofits and grant budget planning, management, and reporting
- Familiarity with community organizing, U.S. and WI food systems, racial equity work, food sovereignty, environmental justice, and land justice
- A sense of humor and adventure
Physical Demands: This is a computer/office work-based role; however, occasional
physical demands could include walking around farms, lifting and carrying equipment, and setting up displays, tables, and chairs for events. This requires the ability to carry 20-60 pounds.
Travel: This position may require travel for events, farm technical assistance, and work meetings. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, active registration and insurance, and be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays. Mileage reimbursement is compensated at the federal standard.
Equipment: This position requires access to a computer, high-speed internet and a reliable phone.
