2026 Tapestry Internship Program Overview:
Our 10-week Summer 2026 Internship Program will give undergraduates, masters students, and recent graduates the opportunity to develop critical skillsets and gain hands-on experience at our house of modern luxury lifestyle brands. There will be internship opportunities available at Coach, kate spade, and within our Tapestry Functional Groups.
- Program Dates: June 2nd, 2026 - August 7th, 2026
- Work structure: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office)
- Location: New York City Hudson Yards Office
- Compensation: $30/hour
- Benefits/Perks: Summer Fridays, product discounts, sample sales, meal stipend, and Intern educational & social events.

Tapestry Internship Position Details:
Job Title: Tapestry MBA Strategy & Consumer Insights Intern
Primary Purpose: The Tapestry Strategy and Consumer Insights MBA Intern will work in close partnership with members across the Tapestry Global Strategy & Insights team to assist in developing and supporting the execution of a global, multi-year strategy across the group.
The intern will own a strategic project at either the corporate strategy or brand strategy level (e.g., tracking competitors’ quarterly earnings, analyzing store footprint and conversion, forecasting product category growth, sourcing consumer insights, studying handbag market trends, conducting brand health tracking). Individuals in the role may be expected to partner with individual brands’ finance, marketing, merchandising, and commercial teams. They may also be expected to assist in ongoing transversal efforts across these areas.
This intern will embrace a consumer focused and data-driven approach and ensure that these insights serve as the foundation for key strategic decisions. Additionally, the intern will be aware of top market trends and competitive insights.

- Work alongside the Strategy & Consumer Insights team as well as cross-functional partners such as our data and analytics group, finance team, and/or omni-channel teams as they identify strategic advantages and opportunities for growth
- Own a strategic initiative / project over the summer in the areas of Strategy and/or Consumer Insights, at either the Tapestry/Corporate level or brand specific level
- This strategic initiative to potentially include market research, competitor research, public company filings analysis, internal and external data analysis, consumer insights analysis, consumer trend research, and brand strategy
- Outside of individual strategic initiative / project, with guidance and support from broader team, potential to:
- Support the long-range and annual planning processes in partnership with Finance teams at both the Tapestry corporate and brand level
- Support key leadership meetings and workshops for Tapestry executives and brand leadership teams
- Support implementation and execution of key strategic initiatives for the brand(s)
The accomplished individual will possess...
- Pursuing or recently completed an MBA degree or equivalent
- Overall Experience: 3+ years of experience; a combination of education and experience in areas such as corporate strategy, management consulting, or operating roles (within and outside of the retail sector) will be considered
- Multi-Industry Expertise: Experience within retail, apparel, DTC brands, or ecommerce preferred
- Global Focus: Should demonstrate a global mindset & expertise; prior experience supporting a global business preferred
