About the Role
Join our dynamic Development Team for an internship focused on Volunteer Program Coordination and Nonprofit Development! Gain hands-on experience supporting volunteer coordination, community engagement, and nonprofit program development. Interns will assist with volunteer recruitment, appreciation initiatives, outreach, and special events while learning from experienced professionals.
This in-person internship is ideal for college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates interested in nonprofit management, youth services, and volunteer programs. Some evening or weekend hours may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and placement
- Maintain volunteer records and databases
- Support volunteer appreciation and recognition activities
- Participate in outreach and special events
- Collaborate with staff to identify volunteer needs
- Communicate with volunteers and prepare materials
Qualifications
- College junior, senior, or recent graduate
- Interest in nonprofit management or volunteer services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Teams/SharePoint a plus)
- Passion for youth and social services
