Position Summary

The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing web page rankings and improving content in our marketing. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of SEO strategies and marketing content best practices. This role will be responsible for improving our websites’ visibility within search engines, targeting keywords to drive traffic, and reviewing or updating marketing content.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms related to our business. Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to capture these keywords and drive organic traffic to our site.
  • Ranking Improvement: Monitor performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance. Continuously optimize and update our website’s content to improve page rankings on major search engines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our paid search and product maintenance teams to align SEO strategies. Share insights from organic search data to support the development of effective marketing.
  • Optimize: Review copy created by website, paid search, and marketing teams to optimize language to drive traffic and sales. Provide suggestions or updated language.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports regularly on our website’s ranking and traffic. Provide actionable insights from these reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field, or related experience
  • SEO experience in an E-Commerce environment is a plus
  • Proven ability to write content that engages customer interest and sales
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SERanking, etc.
  • Ability to work well in a team and coordinate with various departments
