Position Overview

Fairview Skilled Nursing Home & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Limited Registered Nurse (RN) to join our exceptional nursing team.

***This position is ideal for graduates who have completed an accredited nursing program and are awaiting their RN license. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience, deliver excellent resident care, and grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses in providing direct and compassionate care to residents in accordance with established care plans.
• Perform nursing duties within the scope of a limited license, under RN supervision.
• Monitor residents’ health status, take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes or concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized by the supervising nurse and facility policies.
• Support residents with daily activities (ADLs) to maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Document all care provided accurately and in compliance with facility and state regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support holistic care for residents.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (required).
• Eligibility for RN licensure in the State of New York (required).
• Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• A compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude.

Even if you’re not yet fully licensed, you can still work with us as a Limited RN while completing your licensing requirements. Fairview will provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to help you transition into your full RN role.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available (days, evenings, and nights).
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and education.
