Tech Club Instructor (1st-8th grade)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Hourly/Salary: Varies based on skill

Job description:

Whiz Learning Kids is an afterschool program for schools across Gwinnett County and Atlanta that brings technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to elementary and middle school students in a fun and challenging way through classes and summer camp. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering, computer science, and design concepts through hands-on learning. If you are interested in and have experience with video game design, computer programming, and enjoy working with children, then this is a great opportunity for you! This is a part-time position with flexible hours with opportunities for 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • has experience and enjoy working with children ages 7-14
  • has reliable transportation
  • has flexibility, excellent work ethic, communicative, and is dependable
  • is enthusiastic and be able to work independently and within a team
  • is a fast-learner and transparent
  • has experience with video game design or computer programming
  • interested in teaching classes of varying sizes

Application Process:

Step 1: Submit application (we are interviewing for the Spring 2026 semester currently)

Step 2: If we think it's a great fit, applicants will receive an email to interview with the Assistant Manager, Amara, within 3-5 business days of submitting the application. 

Step 3: If you receive a job offer and agree to accept, the next steps are to shadow a class. We can't wait to welcome you to the team!
