Servicing Intern

Job Description:

We are one of the fastest growing companies in Orlando, and we are seeking a Servicing Intern to join our growing team.

Abacus Global Management Inc. purchases life insurance policies through a variety of sources, including consumers, financial advisors and insurance agents. The capital sources for these investments include institutional investors, hedge funds and pension funds.

The Servicing Intern will work as part of the Servicing Team to perform all tasks and maintenance items associated with each policy and insured in their assigned book of business through the life of the individual policy or until the policy is traded.

Responsibilities:

· Review and track all documents and communication related to policy.

· Maintain accurate records of policy owner and insured’s information and changes.

· Provide assistance to policy owners regarding policy inquiries, claims processes, premium payments.

· Address and resolve policy owner inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

· Enter and update policy information in the policy management system.

· Maintain organized electronic files for all policies.

· Communicate effectively with carriers, funds, and insureds to facilitate policy servicing.

· Send policy updates, confirmations, and important notices to policy owners.

· Process premium payments and manage billing inquiries.

· Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments or grace or lapse notices.

· Assist funds in the claims process and obtain all documentation required by carrier.

· Collaborate with carriers to provide necessary policy and insured information to process claims.

· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product changes.

· Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

· Work closely with sales, underwriting, and contracts teams to ensure seamless policy administration.

· Support efforts to improve fund satisfaction and operational efficiency.
