Blackwater Electric Company, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer to assist with planning and executing electrical construction projects in commercial, government, and industrial facilities. Work alongside experienced Project Managers to gain hands-on experience managing design, permitting, scheduling, and field operations.
What You'll Do:
- Track project progression and support scheduling, budgeting, and coordination efforts
- Assist in project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and billing
- Analyze data and support decision-making to maintain safety, cost, and quality
- Utilize Procore and BIM tools to support productivity and prefabrication
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients
What You'll Need:
- Electrical or construction experience or relevant project coordination background preferred
- Bachelors degree in business, technical, or related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of analyzing and tracking project data
- Familiarity with NEC and construction codes preferred
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally
