Position Overview The Graduate Research Assistant will support Dr. Michele Wilson in conducting several research projects focused on instrument development. This role provides valuable experience in research management and execution within the health professions.
Job Responsibilities
- Management of regulatory documents
- Data entry and quality control
- Maintain data files and security of information
- Conduct research literature searches
- Assist in the execution of research projects
- Manage recruitment and screening of research participants
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student at the Texas State University
- Detail-oriented and research-minded
- Strong organizational skills
- Available up to 10 hours per week
- Proficiency with general computer applications and Excel
- Preferably available for Spring 2026, Summer 2026, and Fall 2026
Minimum Requirements
- Enrollment in at least 9 credit hours per semester (summer enrollment may be 3 or 0 hours)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Good academic standing
- Graduate-level research coursework preferred
- While the position is open to all eligible graduate students, preference will be given to those enrolled in programs such as Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Human Development and Family Sciences, or Public Health
