Talent Acquisition Manager (1116)

Education/Years of Experience: Five (5) years workforce recruiting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a Business Management related field, or ten (10) years overall HR related experience parallel with recruiting experience or a Masters degree in a business management related field.

 

Required Qualifications: US Citizenship.  Ability to obtain a security clearance. Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is required, with a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, best practices and full life cycle recruiting. Individual will be a self-starter capable of leading a proactive and responsive talent acquisition program focused to deliver results for current and future potential demand.  Must demonstrate proven track record doing so based on experience. Ability to build strong relationships with PMs and hiring managers, weekly and sometimes daily reports are required.

 

Desired Qualifications: Previous experience recruiting for government contractor positions with a firm understanding of the local job market and recruiting for proposal support.  Experience using ADP Talent module.

 

Skills Needed: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Strong and effective communication skills over the phone, the ideal candidate must be comfortable making cold calls and communicating over the phone frequently.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to maintain tracking spreadsheets.  Must have strong sourcing skills including experience with Boolean searches. Individual will play a critical role in building a strong workforce by developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies focusing on both immediate hiring needs and long-term workforce planning to ensure that the organization has the right talent to meet its business objective. 

 

Duties: Sourcing Candidates: Identify and attract potential candidates for positions in Huntsville, AL, Dahlgren, VA, Las Cruces NM and other identified states through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks. 

 

  • Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes, conducting initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Building Employer Brand: Work on promoting the company as desirable place to work. 
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs to develop job descriptions that align with organizational goals.
  • Building Talent Pipelines: Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates and recruitment agencies to create a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes and candidate experience.

 

Comments: This position is primarily an on-site position at the Corporate office.  Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
