Senior Academic Engineer

The School of Engineering has an opening for a Senior Academic Engineer. This position provides technical support for fabrication resources within the school, including the Forge (student maker space), the BioMed FabLab, and the MILL.

The Senior Academic Engineer collaborates with faculty and staff to develop and update advanced manufacturing curricula, ensuring they remain at the forefront of modern manufacturing education. The Engineer is also responsible for maintaining existing manufacturing equipment and staying informed about emerging technologies and tools in the field.  In addition, the Engineer works closely with faculty to support manufacturing courses and teaches classes in Computer-Aided Machining and General Manufacturing Processes.
