Park Management Intern-Alapocas Run & Wilmington State Parks
Want to learn how a park runs from the inside out? In this position, you will work directly with the park staff as part of our management team. Interns will interact with staff, visitors, and volunteers, often serving as people’s first point of contact with the parks. You will support other park intern projects as well as develop your own major project, which will be in part based on your skills and interests.
Interns will also participate in intern-wide professional development activities and experiential learning opportunities that may require them to be off-site or away from their placement. Each intern will complete a personalized “demonstration of learning” project. At the conclusion of the internship, all interns will present their projects during a poster session for peers and Delaware State Parks staff.
