Registered Nurse Med/Surg Neuro

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Neuro (Nights)

2845 Greenbrier Road, Green Bay, WI 54311

 

Sign on bonus for eligible candidates of up to $15,000

 

Where You Will Work:

The 2 Neuro Unit provides 12 private rooms and specializes in caring for patients with neuroscience, neurosurgical, and neuro intervention needs. While it accommodates a wide variety of patients, its core focus is on complex neurological care.

 

RNs on the unit:

Obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification

Participate in continuing education tailored to neurological care.

Attend a dedicated neuro class during orientation

 

 We’re Looking For:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Experienced inpatient RN preferred

 

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
