Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Oncology

Where You Will Work:

Med Surg 1 is a 16-bed unit dedicated to delivering holistic, patient-centered care for a wide range of medical conditions, with a strong focus on oncology. Care often begins at diagnosis and continues through treatment, pre-transplant preparation, illness support, chemotherapy, palliation, and hospice care at end of life.

Our team is committed to caring for the whole patient and family, providing education and support throughout every stage of the journey. Nurses on this unit receive specialized training to advance expertise in oncology nursing.

If you’re passionate about comprehensive care and want to make a meaningful impact on patients and families, Med Surg 1 offers a rewarding and supportive environment. 

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ONS certification class offered after 12 months. (Required to complete)

 

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

 

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

7:00 pm to 7:30 am

Every 3rd to 4th weekend
