We are expanding our virtual care team and seeking a reliable, tech-savvy Remote Dental Assistant to support dental offices with digital records, patient communication, and clinical coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Assist dental providers remotely by managing patient communications and coordinating clinical workflows.

Review and update patient records, medical histories, and treatment notes in dental practice software.

Communicate with patients regarding appointments, pre-op/post-op instructions, and general inquiries.

Support virtual consultations by preparing digital charts and ensuring accurate documentation.

Manage digital imaging files, treatment plans, and insurance documentation.

Maintain accurate and organized digital records across multiple practices.

Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

Deliver professional, friendly service and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist, or Dental Treatment Coordinator (remote or on-site).

Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and basic clinical workflow.

Experience with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, or similar.

Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.

Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

HIPAA knowledge required; certification a plus.

Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA) preferred but not mandatory for administrative-focused remote roles.
