Financial Analyst
Summary
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for Division and facility specific financial analysis in relation to customer material reporting, tariff tracking and recovery, price audits and general accounting support. In addition to these tasks, this roll may include assistance with Accounts Payable, internal audits and physical inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Track, calculate and monitor customer inventory balances with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
•Support the compilation, testing and invoicing of Tariff pass-through expenses
•Track customer RMA inventory and ensure proper monthly reporting
•Conduct price audits
•Reconcile bank statements
•Prepare and enter journal entries
•Assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end close activity
•Provide support for Accounts Payable when required, including vouching vendor invoices and processing weekly check runs when needed
•Assists in annual physical inventory
•Adheres to all corporate financial policies, procedures and guidelines
•Monitor established internal controls to ensure proper compliance
•Assist with daily activities in the finance department
•Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures
•Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space
•Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Economics (2 years of general accounting experience preferred but not required)
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Strong computer skills/ applications knowledge (i.e. Email, Excel, MS Word etc.) and ERP systems (Infor/CSI a plus)
• Excellent planning, organizational, documentation and time management skills
• Knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis and the general ledger
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high tech manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information
• Ability to interface with customers and suppliers
The annual salary for this role is expected to be between $65,000 and $80,000 depending on a combination of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and industry knowledge.
