Municipal Accountant/State Building Aid Analyst

Fiscal Advisors & Marketing, Inc., (www.fiscaladvisors.com) is an independent municipal advisory firm that has been serving New York State Municipalities and School District since 1967.

We are seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate opening for a Municipal Accountant / State Building Aid Analyst position.

This position will include but not be limited to Accounting Services and preparation of New York State Education Department financial forms.

All applicants must be detail oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong analytic skills, be a self-starter, excel in time management/multi-tasking/task prioritization, and be proficient in Microsoft Office; particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. New York CPA license not required.

This is an entry level position however; all experience levels will be considered should the candidate meet the firm’s needs.
