OVERVIEW
We’re hiring several Operations positions across different teams. These roles are ideal for someone looking to begin their career in financial services and gain hands-on experience across core operational functions. Whether you're interested in client service, transaction processing, account setup, or project work, this is a great way to get your foot in the door and build a long-term finance career.
FOCUS AREAS
- Account Openings: Review and process new fund account documentation, assist with setup, and ensure accurate, timely onboarding.
- Securities / Transaction Processing: Process and reconcile daily investment activity, review transactions for accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Client Services: Serve as the main operational point of contact for institutional clients, manage daily inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Payment Processing: Process domestic and foreign currency payment instructions, verify details, and resolve payment-related inquiries in a deadline-driven environment.
- Project Support: Support project work within Operations, including requirements gathering, testing, reporting, and process automation using Excel/VBA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process operational tasks accurately and efficiently (e.g., documentation review, transactions, payments, account setup, inquiries).
- Review information, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues when needed.
- Monitor daily workflows and help ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and occasionally external partners or clients.
- Perform reconciliations or reviews of operational data to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and follow-up on open items.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, control enhancements, or automation opportunities.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related major.
- Internship experience in financial services, operations, or client service is strongly preferred (but not required for all roles).
Skills & Technical Competencies
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel required; VBA/Macros preferred for some roles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze issues, research problems, and escalate appropriately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Comfort learning new systems and technology.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
