Overnight Camp Counselors are responsible for the care, supervision, and leadership of campers ranging from 1st grade to 9th grade who are staying overnight at Camp Roger in Rockford, Michigan for 4-day and 6-day sessions. In this role, counselors should be open and passionate about their relationship with God and desire to share His love with those around them. Our staff should be able to utilize life skills that encourage personal and spiritual growth.
With two weeks of intentional community building and training, our staff will equip counselors to serve in a variety of ways in our programs. Some program responsibilities will include leading daily cabin devotions, tent camping out in God’s creation, life-guarding or aquatic observation, leading large or small group games, and managing camper behavior.
Our counselors and staff are supported directly by professionals in education, special education, psychology and we have a full-time Social Worker who lives onsite!
Competitive Camp Counselor starting Summer Salary-- $3300!
FREE (optional) Wilderness First Aid Certification
FREE (optional) First Aid, CPR, Lifeguard Certification

Minimum age: 18.
Prefer: one year of college by summer 2026.
