Culinary Internship Program
The Navigate Culinary Internship Program is a 12-week paid internship that gives young adults the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inspirational corporate food service culture. Interns will be placed at a leading food service kitchen and will work closely with culinary leaders and receive on the job training and mentoring.
Job Responsibilities (May include any or all):
Kitchen management
Food preparation
Following standardized recipes and procedures
Food costing and accounting
Following sanitation and safety regulations and procedures
Executing operational standards
Build professional relationships and enhance interpersonal and professional skills
Contribute individually and as a team member to support culinary services and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager
Internship Eligibility Criteria:
Must be attend a 5-day Navigate Training prior to internship (training modules include soft skills development and ServSafe food handler certification)
Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours a week for at least 12 weeks
Must pass background check
Negative drug test required
Applicants are required to demonstrate a positive and coachable attitude toward the internship requirements
Previous culinary experience a plus
