The New American Consortium for Wellness and Empowerment is growing. To meet the FM community’s needs, we are recruiting engaged and mission-oriented individuals. Our mission is to share resources and build community to integrate refugee and immigrant communities. We focus our programs on wellness and empowerment of our clients. Stories that New American clients come to us with can be heartbreaking, heartwarming, and everything in between. As we strive to help refugees integrate to a new community or immigrants make this community their home, we need your expert help in caring for our clients. In your position, you will facilitate the creation of an environment in which we work professionally and serve positively. 

• Hourly breakdown: 25 hours a month, 6.25 hours a week. 
• Position description:
  • Research and create training for incubator members to build their capacity and knowledge of starting a non-profit organization.
  • Plan and execute monthly nonprofit networking events.
  • Organize incubator members by creating manuals with resources for each member and a database to track their progress. 
  • Create, advertise, and recruit for a coworking space and business model for paying members
  • Research social enterprise for nonprofits and its regulations.
  • Collect and share resources within the incubator and the nonprofit community. 
  • Maintain contracts and financial records of members requesting fiscal sponsorship.
