Assistant Staff Engineer

Job Title: Assistant Staff Engineer at Trihydro Corporation 

 

Location: Anaconda or Butte, Montana 

 

Job Summary
As an assistant staff engineer, you will provide field and office support for environmental sampling programs, manage and analyze data using a variety of software tools, prepare and review technical reports, and support sampling and oversite at sites where historic mining impacts are being addressed to promote cleaner water. 

This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Data analysis, 

Process unit sizing and design, 

Groundwater and soil sampling, 

QA/QC and data management,  

Possible geochemical and/or hydrological modeling, and 

Environmental task coordination.  

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Chemical, Civil/Environmental, or Biological, 

0-4 years of relevant work experience, 

Problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic, 

Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, 

Written and oral communication skills, including technical writing, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and project team members, 

Good employment or academic history with a commitment to safe work practices, 

Ability to work reliably in teams and independently, 

Ability to travel approximately 20 percent of time, to client sites and other Trihydro offices, and 

A clean driving record. 

Undergraduate or graduate research experience is highly valuable.
