The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Video Production Resident to support Pursuit’s video and content division. This role is hands-on from day one. You’ll collaborate directly with our Director of Production to edit and film client content that spans social media, websites, and brand campaigns. You’ll edit real projects, work with real clients, and learn the full Pursuit workflow for premium video production.

Our Residency Program

The Pursuit Digital Residency Program is a hands-on development track for emerging creatives who want real agency experience.

Residents work directly alongside our directors on active client projects across web, video, and social, not watching from the sidelines. The purpose of the program is simple: to provide meaningful hands-on learning in a professional environment, sharpen creative and organizational skills, and build a portfolio of work that reflects high standards and real-world expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Edit videos for social, web, and brand campaigns using Davinci Resolve and similar tools.
• Assist with planning, filming, and lighting during video productions.
• Organize footage, build timelines, and prepare deliverables for final review.
• Ensure every deliverable ships polished, on-brand, and on schedule.

Requirements

• Deep alignment with Pursuit’s values of honesty, humility, and excellence.
• Basic experience with video production, including filming, editing, or both.
• Familiarity with professional editing software (DaVinci Resolve is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards.
• Solid problem-solving instincts and willingness to look for answers before asking for help.
• Must live near Knoxville and have reliable transportation.
