Aggie Foundation Community Outreach & Development Coordinator

Through the Community Builder Program, the Community Outreach & Development Coordinator  will build the Aggie Foundation’s capacity to strengthen rural communities through strategic outreach and resource development. The member will maintain and update the donation and giving database, prepare reports for the Board of Directors, and assist with scheduling and facilitating virtual board meetings. They will support coordination, marketing, and execution of fundraising and community events, while creating marketing materials and managing website content to enhance visibility. Additional responsibilities include developing annual giving reports, coordinating logistics with donors, and expanding community outreach efforts to benefit local organizations. This position plays a key role in increasing the Foundation’s ability to support youth, education, amateur sports, and economic development initiatives across North Dakota.
 

Essential Duties include:  

Database Management & Reporting
Maintain and update the donation/giving database to ensure accurate donor records. Prepare and distribute giving and impact reports for the Board of Directors

Board Support
Schedule and facilitate virtual Board meetings, including preparing agendas and materials.

Event Coordination
Assist with planning, marketing, and execution of fundraising and community events.
Coordinate logistics with donors and partner organizations.

Marketing & Outreach
Create marketing materials and manage website content to increase visibility.
Develop annual giving reports and donor communications.
Expand community outreach capacity through social media and local engagement strategies.

Capacity Building
Strengthen organizational systems for donor relations and event management.
Support efforts that benefit youth, education, amateur sports, and economic development initiatives.

Training
Participate in AmeriCorps training and activities as required by Souris Basin Planning Council

 

Benefits include a monthly living stipend, a housing/grocery stipend, and an education award after successfully completing service commitment. This is 675-hour AmeriCorps service commitment that pays $10,125 through bi-monthly living stipends, and an education award of $2,817.14 after successfully completing the service commitment.
