About the Congressional App Challenge
The Congressional App Challenge is an official initiative of the U.S. House of Representatives, committed to inspiring, engaging, and supporting student innovators in computer science and STEM. Each year, the Challenge works directly with hundreds of Congressional offices and Members of Congress, empowering students from across the nation to build applications that solve real-world problems.
Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and proactive interns to join our team for the upcoming Spring Semester. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of technology, education, policy, and public service. Interns will support national programming, Congressional engagement, student outreach, communications, data management, and event coordination.
This position is shutdown-proof, meaning work will continue without interruption in the event of a federal government shutdown, ensuring stability throughout the semester.
