Marketing and Advertising Coordinator

Duration: Flexible
Hours: 5–10 hours/week (flexible around class schedule)

Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative, motivated college student or recent graduate to lead our marketing and advertising efforts. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience building a brand, developing campaigns, and making a direct impact on a fast-growing nonprofit sports organization. You will work closely with leadership on projects that reach families, local businesses, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Heat Baseball Club programs, events, and camps.
  • Create engaging content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and manage posting schedules.
  • Assist in designing advertising materials, including flyers, graphics, and digital ads.
  • Help manage website updates (WordPress) and improve SEO for key program pages.
  • Support sponsorship outreach with marketing materials, pitch decks, and partner spotlights.
  • Track analytics and provide recommendations to improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the Board and coaching staff to maintain consistent brand voice and messaging.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Basic design skills.
  • Familiarity with social media management and trends.
  • Interest in youth sports, community organizations, or nonprofit work.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and bring creative ideas to the table.
