Requirements:
Viejas Casino & Resort is looking for an undergraduate (junior or senior) student, who is specializing in Human Resources. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and desire to have hands on development in Talent Acquisition. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
Objectives:
Learn and assist with the talent acquisition process, including:
- Pre-screen resumes and applications for minimum requirements
- Contact and pre-screen candidates over the phone
- Serve as “Career Coach” helping to screen candidates into jobs they are qualified for
- Assist in the scheduling of interviews with departmental management
- Assist with drug tests during pre-screen process
- Assist with the onboarding process for those selected for hire
- Work with the candidates through gaming license process
- Assist with hiring events and job fairs, representing the Viejas Casino & Resort brand
