Product Management Intern (Work-Study Only)

Note: This position is only open to students who qualify for federal or state work-study.

 

As a Product Management Intern at Folio, you will help shape the direction of tools and experiences that support students in finding meaningful, career-aligned opportunities. You will work with cross functional teams to refine product requirements, gather user insights, prioritize features, and support the delivery of improvements across the platform.

This role is ideal for students studying business, information systems, computer science, design, or related fields who want hands-on experience in product development within a mission driven technology environment.

 

What You’ll Do

Assist with defining product requirements and organizing feature requests.

Help gather and synthesize feedback from students, partners, and internal teams.

Support the creation of user flows, documentation, and simple prototypes.

Track project progress and maintain clear communication across teams.

Contribute to testing new features and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for federal or state work-study funding.

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, UX, Design, or a related field.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Interest in problem solving and translating user needs into product ideas.

Comfort with tools such as Google Workspace, Figma, Notion, or similar platforms.

Curiosity about technology, user experience, and student facing products.
