The Position: Your Clinical Impact
At Bradford Pet Hospital, we prioritize quality over quantity, dedicating ample time for thorough exams and individualized treatment plans. We need an RVT who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to our fear-free approach.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Anesthesia & Surgery: Preparing, monitoring, and assisting with surgeries, including proficiency in monitoring anesthesia with various equipment.
- Diagnostics: Performing in-house diagnostic testing, including running lab work, operating diagnostic equipment (e.g., X-ray, ultrasound, cold laser), and performing dental cleanings and X-rays.
- Patient Care: Proficient animal restraint and handling, administering medication and treatments, and assisting with medical procedures under veterinarian direction.
- Client Education: Educating clients on pet health, post-procedure care, and treatment plans.
- Record Management: Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with general animal care and husbandry.
Qualifications

- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology is required, and/or 5+ years of experience in a veterinary setting.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and technical procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- A genuinely positive, calm, and empathetic attitude under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (with clients and team members).
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate in ongoing training.
Schedule & Competitive Compensation
- Schedule: This is a full-time position. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Alternating Saturdays (7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) are required.
