Sales Development Intern - Summer 2026

Position Overview
Vesco Medical’s Commercial Team is focused on bringing innovative, high-quality solutions to hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home infusion customers improving the lives of tube-fed patients nationwide. We are seeking a motivated, self-starting student interested in building a strong foundation in B2B medical device sales and marketing. This internship offers hands-on experience working alongside a passionate and experienced commercial team in a growing medical device company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in weekly Commercial Team meetings and complete assigned follow-up tasks.
  • Support key commercial initiatives, which may include:
    • Assisting with the sales forecasting process.
    • Researching and enhancing Vesco Medical’s online commercial presence.
    • Supporting lead generation efforts through customer research and outreach preparation.
    • Preparing product samples for conferences or for customer requests. 
    • Field visits to current customers or potential customers alongside the outside sales team. 
  • Improve sales operational effectiveness with ongoing process improvement and/or technology.
  • Collaborate on a summer-long, cross-functional intern project designed to provide exposure to multiple areas of the business—including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service—culminating in a final presentation to company leadership.
  • Represent Vesco Medical with professionalism and positivity in all customer-facing interactions—delivering friendly, informative, and purposeful communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and contribute to broader project goals.
  • Flexibility to prioritize and pivot as customer and business needs evolve.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting marketing or sales initiatives or customer-facing roles.
  • Professional communication and phone skills with the ability to engage confidently and courteously.
  • Ability to articulate clinical or technical information clearly and accurately.

Education Requirements

  • Rising Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
