The CAUSE Leadership Academy (CLA) is a paid 9 week internship program designed for college students and recent graduates passionate about government, civic leadership, and Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities.

We are now accepting applications for our 2026 CAUSE Leadership Academy (CLA) cycle. This summer internship offers students hands-on experience in the public sector across different levels of government (federal, state, county, and city) and is ideal for those passionate about political and civic engagement. We’d love your help sharing this opportunity with students who may be a great fit.

Program Dates: June 2026 - August 2026 

Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-Person)
