Courtroom Technologist

WyreStorm Technologies Pro AV Corp is an award winning AV Manufacturer based in upstate NY. 
We are seeking a Audio Video Courtroom Technologist with a strong background in networking to provide essential technical support for our courtroom clients. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem-solver who can assist with best practices, system configurations, and on-site support. This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also excellent at documentation and client communication.

Responsibilities
 

• Provide expert technical assistance to courtroom clients, including on-site support, configuration, and troubleshooting of professional Audio Video equipment.
   
• Advise clients on best practices for using courtroom technology systems.
   
• Conduct research and maintain up-to-date documentation, including architectural line drawings and lists of compatible network switches.
   
• Develop short, instructional videos (under 5 minutes) about our Networked solutions and their benefits.
   
• Serve as the primary technology specialist for networking, addressing issues related to IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, security, and firewalls
   

 
Qualifications
 

• Proven experience in a networking-focused role.
• Familiarity with Audio Video systems and best practices
• Familiarity with AV signal flow
• Deep understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing.
• Proficiency with VLANs, network security, and firewall configuration.
• Experience with Multicast, Unicast, and other network protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation and instructional videos.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• AV Technologist Certification or CTS preferred
