Brief Job Description (essential duties of the job): 

Hearings Employee

To support the Boston Transportation Department as a hearings officer.

Responsibilities

This position holds hearings for constituents requesting hearings for violations of Transportation Department violations or Code Enforcement Violations.

Performs related work as required.

Minimum Entrance Qualifications:

Enrolled in Law School.

 Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.

 Boston Residency Required.

 TERMS:

Union/Salary Plan/Grade:  Non-union/No grade

Hours per week: 35
