Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
The Hyde Park Central School District is seeking a qualified and dynamic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, district-wide position. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support students with a wide range of behavioral needs across all grade levels. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior interventions to promote a positive and effective learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities
Support the Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) process.
Support the development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on FBA data and best practices in ABA.
Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and other staff to integrate behavior plans into the classroom and other school settings.
Provide training, coaching, and support to school staff on the principles of ABA, data collection, and the effective implementation of behavior strategies.
Analyze behavioral data to track student progress, make data-driven decisions, and adjust intervention plans as needed.
Participate, when invited, in Committee on Special Education (CSE) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of student goals and services.
Serve as a resource for parents and families, providing guidance and training to ensure consistency between school and home.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of ABA and education.
Work in each building as assigned.
Qualifications
BCBA Certification: Must hold a current and valid certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Education: A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field is required.
Experience: Prior experience working as a BCBA in a school setting is strongly preferred.
Preferred: NYSED Certification: Must hold a New York State Education Department (NYSED) classroom teaching certificate or a pupil personnel services certificate.
