Internship Details:
Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
Pay: $14/hour
Location: Headquarters Office in Memphis, TN

Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate
Passionate about our mission

Must be 18 years of age or older
Internship Focus:
The Volunteer Operations & Experience Intern will work with and assist the VOE team on projects supporting the volunteer experience. This position will provide assistance to VOE staff on planning, coordinating and executing support for events, and ensure completion of projects. This role will assist with the following:
Prepare for and support upcoming campaigns including planning, and coordination of volunteer related projects and needs.
Partner with the Sr. Liaisons on providing support for national recognition tactics for volunteers.
Assist with preparation and communication of summer volunteer seminar experiences campaign.
Assist with preparation and hosting of the National Volunteer Advisory Council visit in June.
Work with Sr. Liaisons to develop a standardize recruitment presentation for groups and orgs.
Outline a process for utilizing third party websites to recruiting and tracking volunteer website.
Majors preferred: Non-profit management, Business administration, Communications
Skills preferred: Volunteer Management, Social Media, Event planning, Strong oral and written communication skills, Microsoft office
