Business Development Representative
The Role You’ll Play to Create Success
We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Inside Business Development Representative! The role is a sales position for Frank Winston Crum Insurance where you will be working with current agents and supporting Field Business Development Managers as needed in training and other initiatives in their respective territories.
- Generates new submission activity and business opportunities from assigned agents and producers.
- Sources new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
- Presents and delivers information to potential and current clients.
- Maintains database (HubSpot, CRM, Excel, etc.) of client information.
- Delivers effective underwriting appetite guidance and procedural training material and presentations to individual producers and targeted groups of agents.
- Communicates effectively with external and internal partners.
- Tracks weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
- Answers potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
- Supports department and company initiatives as needed.
- Recognizes and reports on market developments and competitor actions that may be a threat or opportunity to ongoing FWCI sales results.

- Track record of understanding sales goals and meeting or exceeding those goals.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Experience working with sales CRM and bachelors degree or equivalent required.
