Video Content Producer Internship

The Rochester Red Wings are offering a valuable educational opportunity for a talented Content Producer Intern. This internship involves producing a variety of video content, including studio/field/external production, post-production, and final delivery. A successful candidate will be capable of consistently meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects.

Educational Experience

As a Content Producer Intern, you will receive training that builds on classroom knowledge and academic experience, closely supervised by experienced professionals. This internship aims to enhance your skills, providing you with practical knowledge and experience that are transferable to any similar business in the field. You will have the opportunity to engage in real-world projects, gaining insights into video production and content creation strategies of a professional sports organization.

Key Learning Areas

  • Video Production: Learn to produce a variety of video content, including studio, field, and external production.
  • Post-Production: Gain experience in post-production processes, ensuring high-quality final deliveries.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with the Social Media, Production, and Communications teams to develop both sponsored and non-sponsored content for digital, in-game, and other outbound applications.
  • Lighting Techniques: Enhance your knowledge of lighting techniques essential for high-quality video production.
  • Project Management: Develop interpersonal skills and the ability to lead projects from a logistical standpoint.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in TV/video production, Cinematography, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with Adobe software packages.
  • Strong knowledge of lighting techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead projects.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Must be fulfilling academic credit requirements for the internship.
