Program Supervisor

Program Supervisor – Therapeutic Day Program

Locations: Springfield MA | Full-Time | Exempt

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their Therapeutic Day Program (TDP), ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. This leadership role provides the opportunity to directly impact program quality, staff performance, and client outcomes across two sites.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure program compliance with agency policies, procedures, and state purchasing agency regulations.

Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Oversee client records and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Attend regular meetings with state agencies to review clients and census.

Approve treatment plans, termination summaries, and assist with report completion.

Review and submit monthly billing accurately and on time.

Oversee intakes and treatment plans, ensuring paperwork accuracy.

Complete and submit DMH bi-annual Service Delivery Reports.

Step in to assist with therapeutic counselor duties as needed.

Stay informed on trends and developments in the field of youth services.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a human services field (required).

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral difficulties.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

CPR/First Aid certification and MAP certification required.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment.

Local travel required; valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Schedule

Full-time, weekday hours with some evening work required.
