As we scale our digital presence, we’re looking for an IT Intern who can help ensure our website runs smoothly, ranks high, and supports our brand mission with a functional, user-friendly design.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on technical role for someone passionate about website optimization, digital performance, and backend infrastructure. You’ll support our tech team in maintaining, updating, and improving our website functionality—ensuring visitors have a seamless experience and helping drive greater visibility through search engine optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Website Maintenance & Backend Support:
Assist with maintaining and updating site functionality (e.g., page builds, plugin management, speed optimization).
SEO Strategy & Execution:
Research and implement SEO best practices, improve site structure and metadata, and support content optimization to increase search rankings.
Troubleshooting & Tech Support:
Identify and resolve backend issues, broken links, form errors, or performance slowdowns.
User Experience Improvements:
Provide recommendations and implement updates to enhance navigation, responsiveness, and overall digital experience for users across all devices.
Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor KPIs, evaluate traffic, and provide insights that inform tech updates.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure the website supports campaign goals and launches.
Security Awareness:
Monitor for potential site vulnerabilities and support basic cybersecurity hygiene and data protection.
Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in WordPress, Wix, or similar website platforms
- Familiar with basic coding (WordPress, HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus!)
- Understands SEO basics and Google Search Console/Analytics
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
