Description: The Acquisitions Department at Altus Equity Group is seeking an underwriting intern to assist in analyzing and underwriting multifamily and commercial real estate acquisitions. You’ll gain hands-on experience underwriting real-world deals, assisting in market research, financial modeling, and learning about private equity investment processes. We’re looking for a motivated student who is interested in private equity and commercial real estate investing, with foundational knowledge in commercial real estate finance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking initiative both in and outside of the internship. This is a fully in-person internship located in our Chico, CA office, lasting approximately 3-6 months (flexible based on student schedule). You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in real deal analysis, mentorship, and exposure to industry professionals.
