Social Media Intern

The Cosic Education Foundation is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Intern to support our digital presence and event operations. This intern will manage our Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, assist with website updates, and help bring our mission to life through content creation and on-site event support.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with our brand and mission
  • Create, edit, and publish content (graphics, photos, videos) for Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Post consistently—minimum of 3 times per week
  • Edit photos and videos provided by our team; occasionally attend events to capture content
  • Assist with updating and maintaining our website (basic edits, posting new content, etc.)
  • Support on-site event setup and operations as needed
  • Track social media engagement and recommend ways to grow our reach

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing social media for a company, organization, or brand—including creating branded content
  • Proficiency with Canva and basic video editing tools
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for design
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Comfort attending events and assisting with hands-on setup
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or nonprofit work is a plus

Must be able to travel to Avondale, AZ for meetings, events, and on-site support
