About the Role

The Cultural Calendar is seeking a Digital Media & Content Intern to help bring cultural stories to life through video, photography, and social content. This role is perfect for students passionate about visual storytelling, digital trends, and creative media.

Responsibilities

• Capture short-form video and photos at cultural events.
• Edit reels, stories, and other media for Instagram and our website.
• Assist in developing a consistent visual style across platforms.
• Support social media strategy by staying updated on cultural and digital trends.
• Help maintain visual content in Squarespace (basic CMS support).
• Track simple performance metrics (Instagram Insights, video engagement).

Qualifications

• Experience with photo/video capture (phone or camera).
• Familiarity with editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite).
• Creative eye for framing, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
• Interest in social media strategy, digital trends, or SEO basics.
• Media, Film, Communications, or Design majors encouraged to apply.
