Internship Details: 

Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026 

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday) 

Pay: $20/hour 

Location: Headquarters Office in Memphis, TN

Qualifications: 

Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate    

Passionate about our mission  

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

Must be 18 years of age or older 

  

Internship Focus:  

Join our Accounting and Finance team for a hands-on internship designed to provide real-world experience in corporate accounting.  Interns will work cross-functionally to improve business processes and reporting while gaining exposure to general accounting, tax, treasury, and financial systems.  Tasks/projects will require working with Oracle, our Enterprise Resource Planning System, and ARCs, our balance sheet account reconciliation system. 

  

Job Functions/Responsibilities: 

  

Support the month-end close process by analyzing general ledger accounts and preparing required adjustment entries  

Completion of balance sheet reconciliations for bank accounts, fixed assets, and tax liability accounts 

Assist with preparation and submission of the annual government economic survey 

Support fixed asset accounting by verifying accuracy of records 

Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects 

Research open accounting issues and discrepancies to support internal audit and compliance efforts 

Document and improve accounting processes 

Collaborate on onboarding materials and team initiatives 

  

Required Skills: 

  

Major in Accounting or related field 

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite 

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

Excellent written and verbal communication 

  

Preferred Skills: 

  

Completion of Principles of Accounting 1 & 2  

Knowledge of automation tools and/or AI (e.g., Excel Macros, Copilot, ChatGPT) 

Participation in student accounting organizations or competitions
