Development, Funding & Partnerships Intern

Stipend: $150/Month
Remote · 8–12 hours/week · Eligible for Practicum/Capstone Credit
Supervisor: Olivia L. Baylor, LCPC, NCC, BC-TMH

About the Role

This internship is ideal for a motivated student interested in business development, public sector partnerships, education systems, funding research, and organizational growth.
You will work directly with the CEO to identify funding opportunities, build school and community partnerships, and support strategic growth plans across multiple mental health and education programs.

This role is hands-on, high-impact, and designed for students who want meaningful experience at the C-suite level.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Funding Research

  • Identify grants, sponsorships, district opportunities, and foundation funding
  • Track deadlines, eligibility, and requirements
  • Prepare Funding Summary Sheets for CEO review
  • Draft initial proposal language for grants and contracts

✔ School & Organizational Outreach

  • Research and build contact lists for:
  • Public and private school districts
  • Colleges/universities
  • County and state agencies
  • Community organizations
  • Corporate wellness programs
  • Send outreach emails, follow-up messages, and introductory materials
  • Support the CEO in preparing proposals for school partnerships, CE trainings, and wellness programs

✔ Development & Strategic Growth Support

  • Identify new opportunities that align with business goals
  • Assist with contract requirements and RFP tracking
  • Draft pitch decks, partnership briefs, and executive summaries
  • Support scaling initiatives for directories, trainings, and summits

✔ Internal Systems & Administrative Coordination

  • Maintain partnership and funding trackers
  • Organize documents, templates, and outreach logs
  • Support preparation of materials for meetings with schools and agencies

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong interest in education, mental health systems, business development, nonprofit leadership, or public administration
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Comfortable learning new systems (Google Workspace, Airtable, Encharge, etc.)
  • Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines

Compensation & Commitment

  • $150/month stipend
  • 8–12 hours per week
  • Fully remote with flexible scheduling

Academic Credit

Students may use this internship for:

  • Practicum
  • Capstone
  • Field experience
  • Final project or course credit
    Full documentation, hour logs, and supervisor evaluations can be provided.
