Merchandising Manager
Position Overview
The Merchandising Manager plays a critical role in planning and executing seasonal
merchandising campaigns and ensuring flawless implementation across boutique
partners. While this role includes creative collaboration with the founder, chief designer,
and chief merchant, its primary focus is on operational excellence—bringing
merchandising plans to life on time and on budget for four major seasonal campaigns
each year. This role will be 30 to 50% travel
Key Responsibilities
Seasonal Campaign Planning and Execution
●Manage end-to-end execution of four major seasonal merchandising campaigns
annually.
●Coordinate production and distribution of merchandising guides, signage, and POS
materials.
●Ensure timely delivery of all assets to boutique partners.Creative Collaboration
●Provide creative input to leadership and design teams in the development of key
seasonal stories and themes, and then align merchandising execution with these
campaign stories.
●Provide input on creative concepts while prioritizing operational feasibility.
Boutique Compliance & Support
●Monitor boutique implementation of merchandising guides and displays.
●Conduct follow-up checks and provide corrective guidance as needed.
Budget & Timeline Management
●Maintain strict adherence to campaign budgets and timelines.
●Report on progress and resolve issues proactively.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
●On-time and on-budget completion of seasonal merchandising deliverables.
●Accuracy and completeness of merchandising guides and POS materials.
●Compliance rate of boutique displays and signage implementation.
●Post-season analysis and actionable insights for future campaigns.
Qualifications
●1+ years of experience in merchandising or retail operations, preferably in fashion or
accessories.
●Strong organizational and project management skills.
●Ability to collaborate with creative and operational teams.
●Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
●Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with merchandising tools.
