Job Title: Elementary School Teacher

Location: Rockdale County Public Schools, Conyers, Georgia (22 miles east of Atlanta)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and passionate elementary school teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of students in grades K-5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and school curriculum standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and tests.
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification for the state of Georgia.
• Previous experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and educational psychology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
