Insight Client Service Intern

INSIGHT CLIENT SERVICE INTERN

THE RUNDOWN 

Insights is looking for a Client Services Intern to join our team in New York City or remotely. Within our 10-week paid Insights Summer Internship Program, you’ll be immersed into the business side of sports and join our team of talented professionals. Through hands-on experience, projects, and mentoring, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge it takes to have a career in sports while developing yourself professionally and personally. 

We are seeking talented, motivated individuals who are excited to help Insights deliver innovative sponsorship market research. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to, learn about and help grow custom research, media exposure analysis and syndicated research solutions. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH  

  • Support the execution of market research projects (questionnaire development, programming, testing/QC, fieldwork and project management, analysis and reporting, etc.). 
  • Collaborate on the creation of research reports delivering actionable insights and recommendations to clients.  
  • Interpret findings in ways that answer key business questions across custom and syndicated research and media analysis. 
  • Attend all internship events and participate in projects and assignments 
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.  

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • Minimum of three (3) years of higher education in sport management, marketing, statistics or related field. 
  • Familiar with variety of research analysis techniques.  
  • Effective writing, time management, multitasking, communication, problem solving and people skills.  
  • Proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint (SPSS software experience is a plus).  
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.  
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.  
  • Strong analytical mindset 

 

 TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • 0% travel 
  • There is no heavy lifting or standing for long periods of time 

 

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION GUIDELINES 

  • Preferably entering Senior year of Bachelor’s program, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
  • Availability to work June 8, 2026 – Aug 13, 2026, 32 hours/wk, Monday – Thursday
  • Interns will be paid an hourly rate of $17 
  • Candidates are restricted to applying to TWO positions only
