LLMSW Therapist (Evening Schedule)
A Launchpad Role for New Social Workers
At Unwritten Endings, we’re more than a therapy practice — we’re a close, supportive team that genuinely cares about one another and the community we serve. Every day, we feel grateful for the impact we get to make with children, teens, young adults, and families in Livingston County.
Our Mission:
“We are driven by a simple mission: to show up for youth and families with compassion, clarity, and steadiness, and to be a trusted, caring resource in our community.”
Every clinician on our team began as an LLMSW, and we remember the challenges of those early steps. That’s why we intentionally invest in new graduates.
When Andrea started Unwritten Endings, she built the practice she wished existed when she graduated: a place where new clinicians could learn, grow, and feel supported while building confidence and real skills. If you’re early in your career and looking for structure, supervision, and a team that shows up for one another, you’ll feel at home here.
Why This Role Is Ideal for New Graduates:
This position is designed as a first job with rapid experience acquisition, a strong supervision foundation, and steady referral flow. Our evening hours (3–8pm) are our highest-need and fastest-filling times — which means you’ll build a caseload quickly, gain extensive real-world experience, and grow your skills with consistent support behind you.
Why Our Team Loves Working Here:
- We support each other. We check in, help out, and truly care.
- We feel proud of the work we do. Serving youth and families is a privilege we don’t take lightly.
- We collaborate closely. No one feels like they’re doing this work alone.
- We communicate openly. Weekly supervision and team meetings are grounded and meaningful.
- We value balance. We want therapists to feel organized, steady, and supported.
What We Offer:
- $40 per session (W-2 model)
- Weekly individual clinical supervision
- Strong referral flow, especially during after-school hours
- Private, fully furnished therapy rooms (including stocked play therapy materials)
- 3% employer retirement match
- 100% collection rate + no-show protection

Curated access to high-quality free trainings to support rapid growth in your first two years
This is the fastest path to building a full caseload in private practice — with structure, support, and meaningful experience from day one.
What This Role Looks Like:
- Providing therapy to children, teens, young adults, and families
- Holding a full caseload of 25–28 clients weekly
- Working 3–8pm Monday–Friday (our highest-need hours), with the option to add weekend sessions if you’re open to it — our community greatly benefits from that availability.
- Participating in weekly individual supervision
- Completing documentation within 24 hours
- Collaborating with caregivers, schools, and other providers when appropriate
- Maintaining strong ethics, boundaries, and professionalism
- Engaging with a team that values connection, communication, and community impact
