AI Engineer (Fintech)
Finz is building an AI-powered CFO for real economy SMBs — think retail, restaurants, services. These businesses face daily cash flow challenges, with no access to real-time financial visibility or adaptive credit. We’re changing that.
This is your chance to help build a production-grade, LLM driven finance agent that doesn’t just chat but sees, reasons, and acts. You'll work directly with the founding team to develop and deploy real-world AI solutions for real-world businesses.
What You’ll Do:
- Build AI workflows using Gemini or OpenAI (GPT-4o)
- Deploy long-term memory using vector DBs like Pinecone
- Use LangChain or LlamaIndex for chain-of-thought orchestration
- Connect live business data (QuickBooks, Plaid, bank feeds)
- Ship and test APIs using FastAPI
- Work in fast sprints and see your work go live
Who We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or PhD students with hands-on AI experience
- You’ve built LLM apps, agents, or vector search pipelines
- You understand embeddings, retrieval, and memory systems
- You’re eager to learn fast and ship real product
- Bonus: experience with agentic AI, LangChain, or fintech data
- Able to start immediately
